Lens is read-only against public registers, monitoring your own record on your own instruction. From linking a number to hearing about a change, the flow is the same for every doctor.

You give us your registration number.
Your HPCSA number, and your PCNS practice number if you hold one. Nothing else is needed to start — we look up your own record, on your instruction.
- Watch
We read the public registers, about twice a month.
Staggered across the fortnight rather than all at once, and never in bulk. You can also ask for a check yourself, once a day per register.
- Compare
Every reading is kept and compared with the last.
Status, category, board, qualifications, and the date your registration period ends. If nothing moved, nothing happens — which is the usual answer, and you can still see that we looked.
- Tell
When something changes, you hear it.
A push notification, an email if you want one, and a verified SMS for anything that cannot wait. Each one says what changed, and when we saw it.
Read from the registers themselves.
Nothing here is self-reported, and nothing is inferred. Every field below exists on a public record — Lens reads it, dates it, and keeps it.

- Every practitioner on the register runs to 31 March. Lens counts down to it and reminds you before it closes.

- We never write to a regulator, and never act on your behalf.
