PART1
First stage of the Fellowship examination. Candidates must have completed 12 months of full-time training as a registrar in an accredited teaching hospital department of Virology. The examination consists of 2 digital written papers.

Part II
PART2
Final Fellowship examination. Candidates must have completed Part I and 42 months of full-time Virology registrar training. Includes 2 digital written papers and a practical examination in OSPE (Objective Structured Practical Examination) format. Compulsory submission of Portfolio of Evidence (Annexure 2) demonstrating Work Integrated Learning and Work Based Assessment. The COULTER MEDAL is awarded to candidates who obtain excellent results.
